The 2011 Ford Shelby GT500: 2.75-inch exhaust pipes, 5.4-liters, 9 psi of supercharged boost, 550-horsepower, and one mean muscle car. The new GT500 was unveiled earlier today, and now we have videos of the Coupe and Convertible stonking down the freeway under full throttle, V-8 engine roar and supercharged whine playing a gearhead symphony.

The videos speak for themselves, but it's the audio that's the most interesting, so be sure to crank up the volume as the 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 Coupe and Convertible cruise the wintry pavement, complete with tire-screeching launches and highway roll-ons.
