To no one's surprise, bankrupt auto parts manufacturer Delphi filed a motion in federal court that will void the company's labor contract. The Section 1113 and 1114 filings will be reviewed by the judge presiding over the case on May 9 and 10, so it's reasonable to expect that we won't see a major work stoppage for another five weeks or so. Additional labor negotiations will undoubtedly be taking place during this time, although one can expect this filing to put a bit of a damper on the whole affair.
