The Canadian site Auto123 is reporting that MINI will definitely add a wagon variant called the Traveller to its lineup when it refreshes the Cooper in 2007. The MINI Concept Frankfurt introduced at the IAA is apparently a much more accurate sneak peek at the next MINI than we thought. We've supplied some official photos here to check it out more closely and we stick by our original judgment that the brand has done a great job with the difficult task of updating a retro design. The longer wheelbase of the two-door wagon will provide some much needed useable cargo space, and the concept hints at some interesting features like doors with kinematic hinges that swing out and to the front to ease ingress.
