Few publications around the world provide highly-improbable speculation better than the magazines that come out of Japan (AutoBild holds down the fort in Germany). While most of the information is easily dismissed as rumor mongering and baseless conjecture, a few gems often reside in the rough.

So with that said, our friend 'S' and the peeps over at the Temple of VTEC let loose some scans from the oh-so-Japanese entitled, HolidayAuto magazine. The details and stories foretell the future of Honda's lineup, albeit with information that is, at best, dubious.

First up is the Acura NSX, which sorely lacked a redesign towards the end of its life, but will probably be a serious contender in its next iteration. Word of a 500 hp, 5-liter V10 makes us all warm and fuzzy, however, the rendering in the magazine is less than compelling (alright we'll call it down right hideous). What was really interesting was the tagline in the upper right-hand corner which states the NSX is planned to debut at the North American International Auto Show. Our excitement was palpable until we read, via translation from one of the poster's girlfriends, that the NSX won't have Honda's famed S-AWD and will have seating for four. We can handle speculation, but that's downright depressing. Plus, we're pretty sure Ayrton Senna would not approve.

Other noteworthy scraps include a redesigned Acura TSX, with all-wheel-drive and a 2.3-liter turbo, the next Honda Fit, with suppository-inspired styling, a shrunken version of the Element, a redesigned Accord and, the only piece of information we think could have a basis in reality, a new JDM Civic Type-R. The styling, which can be viewed, along with the rest of the pages after the jump, is more last-gen Civic than current, but the engine speculation is right on par with what others have confirmed, namely a revised, 2-liter K20, producing 220 hp and equipped with a six-speed manual.
