NTSB recommends black box recorders for vehicles; The Roots' Rahzel disappointed

Rahzel

On Tuesday the National Transportation Safety Board called for the federal government to require passenger vehicles to be equipped with black box recorders measuring speed, seatbelt use, braking and information regarding airbag deployment. The recommendation comes on the heels of the NTSB's inability to interview the elderly driver who crashed into the Santa Monica farmer's market last fall, killing ten and injuring more than 60. The board claims that between 65 and 90 percent of 2004 vehicles are sporting recording devices already, but a federal requirement would help provide a standard data set to aid investigators.
