spotted Hyundai's next Elantra while it was being hot weather-tested in the desert. The shape is reported to be distinct from the all-new Sonata, marking a completely different design language for Hyundai's almost-entry level car. The more organic shape appears similar to that of Dodge's Neon at certain angles, although it's difficult to tell through the expertly applied camo covering. As is the trend, the Elantra will be growing in size adding an estimated 1.3-inches to its wheelbase, all of which appears to have been used for more rear-seat legroom. It will be interesting to see if this new Elantra fairs as well against its Japanese rivals as its older brother has so far.
