From Eric, our stealth SEMA correspondent, something competely different - a Civic that doesn't scream "Lookatme! Lookatme!" The folks at Skunk 2 apparently believe it's what's inside that counts, and here's what they picked:

Powertrain - from Skunk2

• forged aluminum pistons

• forged chromoly connecting rods

• ported head

• prototype camshafts

• adjustable cam gears

• forged stainless steel valves

• titanium valve retainers

• prototype header

• prototype intake

Other powertrain goodies include a custom forged aluminum flywheel with steel face, custom twin-disc carbon clutch, high-volume injectors from RC Engineering and a Hondata ECU.

Chassis and Suspension - from Skunk2

• stiffer springs - 1800 lb front/2200 lb rear

• Moton shocks

• lower arm bar

Other chassis/suspension mods include Brembo brakes, 13-inch/4-piston front and 11-inch/2piston rear, and 18-inch Volk Racing wheels.

Interior mods feature Recaro/Braille carbon/kevlar racing seats, Willans harnesses, a full-on rollcage, and AiM data acquisition system. No word on where and when this car will be raced.


I think the Stealth Black paint is perfect - and a nice ?at rod?reference for a pure performance car.
